A Recent Unexpected Honor

On November 10, 2022, I had the honor of meeting President Bill Clinton. I was also given a tour of his office space which includes an impressive collection of historical artifacts, photography and art. I had been invited to meet with him as a result of having three of my brushed aluminum pieces accepted for display there, the Clinton Foundation Office on 125th Street in New York City.

This series began in September 2020 upon finding out that Kamala Harris was the Democratic candidate for VP. My heart soared at the news. Then came the devastating loss of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I became addicted to spending middle of the night 's creative time with these women through researching their lives as I sketched. I felt it was the least I could do to honor their spirit. And as more women both living and in our past came to my notice and engaged my attention, I continued the series.
As of May 28, 2021 there are these ten.
I have been asked if there are prints available and yes there are.
The images with no quotes are available as 11"x 11" images on 12" x 12" paper for $50

2020 in Pictures
This year has been one of much middle of the night experimentation learning how to use my iPad Pro and my Apple Pencil and many new apps. Plan is to upload everything into this gallery so I can look back and make some sense of it when I get some perspective on a year like no other. It gets pretty tiring to gather everything up and put it in order by date but I will try to be as thorough as I can be
If you click on any image it will get bigger and allow you to go through the entire gallery.
